I’m renting my three textbooks, which would of cost me $350 to rent from the bookstore, for $80! So yeah, go Amazon!

We used to score all our books from the UK. Not sure if it saves as much as it did, but it used to save me like $400 a semester, so might be cheaper than renting. Just search by ISBN number on the Amazon.co.uk site.

That works too! But a lot of the time they get you on overseas shipping, however, if you can get cheap overseas shipping, it’s totally worth the to get international editions.

Ah it was $400 in savings after airfreight shipping. Not international editions either, brand new same as in the bookstore. Actually someone pointed out that they were actually printed in the U.S., shipped to England, only to get shipped back. My average savings after shipping was 50%. And that’s back in the day when buying £1 was $2.
